“bangay is the new blake” the guardian

frank bangay was born in wandsworth, south london in 1951. he left school at the age of 15 and began to write poetry in the early 1970’s. he published two books, a dozen highly sort after pamphlets and numerous cds. he was an active mental health campaigner, a passionate advocate and a regular fixture on london’s spoken word circuit, performing solo and with his band.
